Thank u for converting that liter crap for me Angel!!
I agree, as first off, u should not even be considering keeping Fronts in a tank that size. Secondly u do have a possibility of cross breeds among ur Scianochromis fryeri (Electric Blue) & ur Labidochromis Caereleus (Electric Yellows) I doubt you'd get a cross between any others though.
There is numerous things to look for, but you're already behind a big 8 ball trying to keep this grouping. The Blues, Yellows, Acei, & peacocks r pretty much all Lake Malawi types, & ur Front is a Tanganyika, & is too large to keep in that tank.
You first need to wait for them to reach sexual maturity. Being u have a name of cichlid breeder, I am rather surprised u do not already know these things. Your Malawi is u should already know, would do best in a large amount of rock & decor in ur substrate, & if u have more then one male, you're going to run into some issues in that size of a tank too.
I think all in all, u need to back off, take maybe ur Electric Yellows & Acei for now only in that tank, & work with those. Trying to use that sort of stock, u need more help then I can give you.
184 litres (48 gal) is a bit weeny to breed cichilids in & with the mixture of fish ur running the risk of creating 'hybrids' whitch r highly frowned on by pet stores & aquaric keepers alike. If u really wanted to breed, the ratio is one male to 3 or more females (especially the electric blues). Temp should stay at 26 celcius & youll need to 'buff' ur fish up so when mum is holding she has the strength to not eat. Males will be really bright & colourful when there preparing to breed. Realistically u need a spare tank to put ur holding mum into & r going to need various tanks to breed the range of fish youve stated. Also youll need a fry grow out tank. Id pick one (electric yellows r easiest) & focus on one & take one step at a time. Also breeding cichlids for money is hard work & would discourage it as theres already enough people out there doing so. But with that said when u find one of ur females holding for the first time the feeling is amazing!! Best of luck & i hope u take my advise. Angel
Ps. Amount of fry will depend on species & all of ur fish r mouth brooders (kinda easy to breed) & r interbreedable.not so good..
Edit: Good work Jon V, i didnt relaise they all couldnt interbreed, though i havnt had frontosas before..somthing learnt every day lol = ) .
sorry what fish are u actually talking bout please?tropical/freshwater/marine?
